Spurbets Casino Kenya

What Spurbets Is and How It Is Licensed in Kenya?

Spurbets is an online casino and sportsbook for players in Kenya. The Betting Control and Licensing Board of Kenya (BCLB) licenses it under licence number BK0000687. The BCLB is the state body that issues permits to betting operators under the Betting, Lotteries and Gaming Act, Cap 131.

The licence details appear in the website footer next to the contact information. The site works in Kenyan shillings, and all payments go through Safaricom M-Pesa. Only users aged 18 and over can play.

Spurbets Registration

You create a Spurbets account with a phone number and a password. The process takes one short form. No email or ID number is needed at sign-up.

The green Register button sits in the top right corner of every page. The form is titled "Create your account". The phone field shows the format 0700 000 000. Your number must support M-Pesa, because the welcome stake and all payments are tied to it.

1. Click Register on the homepage.
2. Enter your Safaricom phone number.
3. Create a password and type it again in the Confirm Password field.
4. Tick the box confirming that you are 18+ and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
5. Press Play now.

Both password fields have an eye icon, so you can check what you typed. Do not skip the 18+ checkbox. The form will not create the account until you tick it.

Spurbets Login and Password Recovery

You log in to Spurbets with the same phone number and password you used at registration. If you forget the password, the Forgot Password link on the login form starts the reset.

The login window is titled "Login to your account". It has two fields, the eye icon on the password field, and the Forgot Password link in green just below it. The same Play now button completes the login. The login is identical on the desktop site, the mobile site and the Android app.

Log out after each session if you play on a shared phone or a cyber café computer.

Spurbets App for Android Devices

Spurbets offers an Android app as an APK file, which you download from the official website. An APK (Android Package Kit) is the installation file for Android apps outside Google Play. Google Play does not list the Spurbets app.

The app gives you the same account, games and M-Pesa wallet as the website. Your balance and bonuses stay the same on every device.

Downloading and Installing the Spurbets APK

You download the APK through the Download App button in the left menu of spurbets.com. After that, you allow installation from unknown sources and install the file.

1. Open spurbets.com in Chrome on your Android phone.
2. Open the side menu and tap Download App.
3. Open the downloaded file from the Downloads folder.
4. Allow Chrome to install unknown apps when Android asks.
5. Tap Install and open Spurbets from your home screen.
6. Log in with your phone number and password.

Android may show a warning about apps from outside Google Play. This warning appears for every APK file. Download the file only from spurbets.com.

Spurbets Mobile Website for iPhone Users

Spurbets has no iOS app, so iPhone users play through the mobile website in Safari. The mobile version has the same menu, games and wallet as the APK.

To open it faster, you can add a shortcut to your home screen:

1. Open spurbets.com in Safari.
2. Tap the Share icon.
3. Choose Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add.

The shortcut opens the site in one tap. There is nothing to install and nothing to update.

Depositing and Withdrawing Money Through M-Pesa

Spurbets accepts deposits and pays out withdrawals only through Safaricom M-Pesa. Both operations start in the wallet, which is the payment section of your account. It has three tabs: Deposit, Withdraw and Redeem.

The M-Pesa logo is already selected as the method on both tabs, because there is no other option. Each tab also links to its own history page, Deposit History or Withdraw History. The Redeem tab is where you enter a voucher or promo code.

How to make a deposit?

You top up your Spurbets balance by entering an amount in the Deposit tab and confirming the payment on your phone with your M-Pesa PIN. The accepted range is KES 100 to KES 150,000 per transaction.

1. Log in and open the wallet.
2. Select the Deposit tab.
3. Enter an amount or tap a quick button.
4. Press DEPOSIT.
5. Confirm the M-Pesa request on your phone with your PIN.

The quick-button row has a small inconsistency. It includes a KES 50 button, but the field above states a minimum of KES 100. Enter at least KES 100 so the payment goes through.

Minimum Withdrawal and Processing Time

The minimum withdrawal on Spurbets is KES 100. Money goes to the M-Pesa number registered on your account once the account is verified. Spurbets describes withdrawals as fast but does not publish an exact processing time.

The Withdraw tab shows your available balance under the amount field. It has four buttons: Min, 25%, 50% and Max. Max sends your whole balance in one tap. The minimum of KES 100.00 is highlighted in red next to the amount field.

1. Open the Withdraw tab.
2. Enter an amount or use one of the four buttons.
3. Press WITHDRAW.
4. Wait for the M-Pesa confirmation SMS.

If the money does not arrive, check the status in Withdraw History before you contact support.

Spurbets Bonuses

Spurbets runs six promotions for registered players: a free welcome stake, daily cashback, a referral program, weekly tournaments, Aviator challenges and daily freebets. All of them are listed on the Promotions page.

Spurbets can change or cancel any offer. It can also withhold winnings if it detects abuse.

KSh 20 Free Instant Welcome Stake

The welcome stake is KSh 20 that Spurbets adds to your balance right after registration. This is a no-deposit bonus, which means you get it without putting any money in. You can use it on crash games, casino games, virtuals and roulette.

After registration, open your profile and check the wallet balance. The KSh 20 should already be there. The offer applies only to accounts registered with an M-Pesa supported number.

10% Daily Cashback and Referral Payments

Cashback is a refund of part of your losses. Spurbets returns 10% of lost bets every day and credits it automatically. The referral program pays you KSh 50 for each friend who registers through your link, plus 10% of that friend's deposits.

Here is how the cashback adds up:

To share your referral link, use the Refer icon on spurbets.com. The homepage banner states that referral earnings can reach KSh 10,000 per day.

Weekly Tournaments and Daily Aviator Freebets

Spurbets runs weekly tournaments with a total prize fund of KSh 5,000,000. Crash Royale has KSh 1,000,000 and JetX has KSh 4,000,000. Aviator players also share KSh 100,000 in daily freebets. A freebet is a free bet, so you do not spend your own balance on it.

These Aviator freebets are unwagered. You do not need to bet the winnings again before you can withdraw them. To receive a share, you need to be online in Aviator when the freebets are handed out. Aviator Challenges are a separate format with cash, freebets and Spurbets merchandise as prizes.

Casino Games and Sports Betting on Spurbets

Spurbets offers crash games, slots, live casino tables, jackpots, virtuals, roulette and a sportsbook. The left menu shows each section as a separate item. A search bar labeled "Search for Providers" sits at the top of the page.

The homepage also shows a Mega Wins feed. It lists recent wins with masked phone numbers, for example KSH 185,389 won in Hezarfen Crash. Below it is the "Top 6 games in Kenya" block.

Aviator and Other Crash Games

Aviator is a crash game. You place a bet before the round starts and cash out while the multiplier is still growing. If the plane flies away before you press Cash Out, you lose the stake. Spribe developed Aviator, and its RTP is 97%. RTP (return to player) is the share of all bets that a game pays back to players over a long period.

All six games in the Top 6 games in Kenya list are crash titles:

1. Aviator
2. JetX
3. Crash 1917
4. Crash Royale
5. Aviatrix
6. FootballX

The crash lobby also includes Avi, Aero, Crash 3DX, AviaBET, Blast and Crash Witch. Every round result is random. A high multiplier in the previous round does not predict the next one.

Slots and Live Casino Tables

The slots lobby includes titles from Pragmatic Play, such as Sweet Bonanza, The Dog House Megaways and Sugar Rush Xmas. The live casino streams tables with real dealers from studios such as Redroomz and Popok.

The live casino lobby has several Blackjack tables, so you can usually find a free seat.

Sportsbook Markets and Live Betting

The Spurbets sportsbook covers football, basketball, tennis, ice hockey, volleyball and boxing. It offers pre-match and live betting. Odds are shown in decimal format. To work out a payout, you multiply the stake by the odds.

The match list has four filters: Live, Top Matches, Upcoming and Favorites. Live matches show the timer, the score and a green counter of extra markets, such as +8 or +15. During the review, the live section listed football from the Bangladesh Federation Cup. It also listed tennis from WTA Beijing, ATP Shanghai and ATP Tokyo.

Customer Support

You can reach Spurbets support 24/7 by phone at 0720006699 or by email at [email protected]. The left menu also has a Live Support item for contact from the website.

For payment issues, include the M-Pesa transaction code and your registered phone number. The same phone line also helps with gambling addiction, as does responsiblegambling.or.ke. Spurbets also offers deposit limits and self-exclusion.
